Join the PULSE-ART Professional Development Programme | 6–7 November 2026

The PULSE-ART Professional Development Programme (PDP) is a free, two-day online training on art-based learning, an approach that uses artistic practices to generate knowledge and critical thinking. It gives educators, artists and cultural practitioners practical tools to design, implement and assess activities that strengthen Cultural Awareness and Expression (CAE), one of the eight EU Key Competences for Lifelong Learning.

The PDP is the complete version of the Art-based Learning Pilot Training held in May 2026. Whether you joined the pilot or are new to PULSE-ART, you’re welcome to take part.

Already joined the pilot? Here’s why to come back

  • The full picture. The pilot offered a first look. The PDP covers all six modules in depth.
  • More dialogue. Each module now includes dedicated time to exchange ideas with other participants and the moderator.
  • Two focused days. The full programme runs over one Friday afternoon and one Saturday, which makes it easier to plan around.
  • Your experience counts. As a pilot participant, your perspective can help refine the final programme.
  • Tools to keep using. The PULSE-ART Toolkit is now available on the PULSE-ART Observatory for Arts in Education, so you can put them into practice afterwards.
