The 1st Global Digital Rights Forum, organised by the Spanish Government and Mobile World Capital, will take place on May 13–14 in Barcelona. The event brings together international speakers to discuss how rapid technological change is redefining fundamental rights in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, disinformation, and digital identity. It aims to position Spain at the centre of the global debate on digital rights and establish the Spanish Charter of Digital Rights as an international benchmark.
Marine Masson (Science for Change / PULSE-ART) will participate as a panelist in “Art, Creativity and Democracy in the Algorithmic Age” (May 14, 13:30–14:00), where she will present “PULSE-ART: Developing an Observatory for Arts in Education to foster Cultural Awareness and Expression”. The presentation will showcase the PULSE-ART Observatory, a co-designed digital hub that serves as a repository for evidence from seven case studies on the impact of the arts in education across Europe and Morocco. The platform will also offer a PULSE-ART toolkit and other resources, as well as a space for connecting educators, artists, and policymakers related to art-based learning. This participation highlights the project’s commitment to making the transformative role of arts in civic and cultural life visible in key policy debates around digital rights.
