Join the PULSE-ART Pilot Training on Arts-Based Learning
This pilot training is part of PULSE-ART, a European research project aimed at generating evidence on the impact of arts in education for Cultural Awareness and Expression (CAE). The programme will subsequently be implemented across seven case studies throughout Europe, each linked to a different artistic discipline — including dance, music, video games, illustration, visual tech and performance arts.
Designed for the educational community, this capacity-building activity supports educators in designing, implementing, and assessing arts-based learning. The methodology is specifically oriented towards strengthening Cultural Awareness and Expression among learners, with a strong emphasis on critical thinking.
Programme Overview
- Format: 6 online sessions, 90 minutes each
- Approach: Knowledge-based, hands-on, and feedback-oriented
- Audience: Educators, teachers, trainers, cultural practitioners, artists, and anyone interested in the intersection of arts and education
- Flexible participation: Attend one, several, or all sessions
- Language: All sessions are delivered in English alongside the indicated language simultaneously
- Certification: A certificate of attendance is issued for each session completed
- Cost: Free of charge

All sessions will take place during May 2026, from 17:00 to 18:30 CET.
All sessions will be taught in English and one other language (Greek, French, Latvian, Spanish, or Dutch) simultaneously.

The results of this pilot training programme will improve the programme and be applied to seven case studies spanning a wide range of artistic disciplines across Europe. By participating, you will contribute to a programme that will later be made available for free through the PULSE-ART Observatory.
