How do competences translate into practice?
This infographic illustrates the structure of the PULSE-ART Competency Framework for developing Cultural Awareness and Expression (CAE). It shows how competences are organised into clusters, dimensions, and proficiency levels. The framework supports a shared understanding of how knowledge, skills, and attitudes come together in practice across cultural, educational, and social contexts.
This material contributes to PULSE-ART´s broader aim of promoting art-based, inclusive, and culturally grounded education across Europe and Morocco. This infographic will be available on the Observatory of Arts for Education alongside the PULSE-ART Competence Frameworks. The Observatory is a free online platform designed for educational, academic, and outreach purposes.
Objectives of the infographic
- Explain the core components of the PULSE-ART Competency Framework.
- Support educators, researchers, and cultural practitioners in interpreting and applying competences.
- Offer a clear visual reference for training, dissemination, and project communication.
